The tour "With confidence into the future", with which Hermann Schützenhöfer will be touring all Styrian districts starting on May 17, 2021, started in southeastern Styria together with Julia Majcan, Franz Fartek and Detlev Eisel-Eiselsberg, VP provincial manager, and with a visit to our company. The tour essentially includes a so-called economic talk with opinion leaders from the region, visits to construction sites and companies, and talks with media representatives in each district.
On Monday, the high-ranking guests were received by KR Ing. Karl Scheucher and the mayor of the municipality of Mettersdorf am Sassbach, Johann Schweigler. During a tour through our production halls, the guests were able to see for themselves that in our Styrian family business, which is now more than one hundred years old and currently employs around 250 people, we can look with optimism to the future: at Scheucher, community, work and joy are written in capital letters and the love of wood and naturally grown values has always been firmly rooted here. Natural, durable and sustainable products and building materials such as our parquet floors are becoming increasingly important - both personally, for a naturally healthy living environment and indoor climate, and in protecting our climate. Above our sophisticated machinery is our in-house photovoltaic system on a roof area of approx. 30,000 m², with which we set another sign for sustainable business and start climate-friendly into the future.
