Scheucher parquet at the SwissSkills 2018

This year's SwissSkills vocational championships kicked off yesterday in Bern, and until September 16, 2018, you will have the unique opportunity to look over the shoulders of the best young professionals in 135 different apprenticeships as they work and compete - because at these second central vocational championships, all professions will be brought to life in a 1:1 format. A huge "temporary factory" will also be set up for this purpose. 60 professions will be presented in the form of occupational demonstrations.

Of course, the division of the floorer is also among the professions and we are pleased to be able to make a valuable contribution to the championship as a material sponsor.

In order to meet the special requirements of the tasks of the participants, we even shortened our BILAflor^® 500 parquet strips by 10 mm for this purpose and transformed them especially into the BILAflor^® 490 for the application area of the championship .

In total, over 100 m² of parquet in the wood types oak and walnut were prepared in our factory and delivered to the SwissSkills via our long-standing partner, Holzplatten AG.

The SwissSkills 2018 are the ideal event for all those who want to get a practical orientation about the diversity of the job market and career opportunities.
